Exhibiting artist talks will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in Room 130 of the Bardo Arts Center, with a reception following from 5 to 7 p.m.
Contributions will be accepted to help support Sylva American Legion Post 104's local youth programs.
Activities planned for the spring semester include a luncheon celebrating both the WCU group’s new status within AAUW and the installation of Kelli R. Brown as chancellor of the university.
A jam session will follow the 7 p.m. performance by Jared “Blue” Smith and Aaron Plantenberg.
The primary meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the board room of H.F. Robinson Administration Building.
The session is set for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the university’s Biltmore Park location in Asheville.
She will assume her duties at the private institution in Virginia beginning in July of 2020.
