Brinson Honors College Ambassadors are dependable, hard-working students who have a positive attitude and a desire to develop leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. They seek to add value and richness to their Brinson Honors College experience. Brinson Honors College Ambassadors:
Ambassadors will enjoy the benefit of attending training and events, many of which will be DegreePlus approved so they can grow in their skills and successfully meet their obligations as Brinson Honors College Ambassadors. Trainings are designed to be fun and to help Ambassadors get out of their comfort zone.
Ambassadors have an average of 3 trainings and events per month. Trainings and meetings are scheduled around your personal schedule that you provide at the time of application. Since the trainings are accommodating your schedule, if you apply and are accepted, Brinson Honors College will expect you to be available for trainings and events.

The qualifications for Brinson Honors College Ambassadors include: freshman, sophomore, junior status; excellent communication skills, a strong interest in helping others, a positive and cheerful disposition, enthusiasm for working with a diverse group of people, a commitment to personal reflection and professional improvement, and status as a Brinson Honors College student in good standing. In addition, students must go through the Ambassador training and attend meetings in order to serve.
NEW Brinson Honors College Ambassador Applicants for the Spring 2024 – Spring 2025 group must apply by November 15th, 2024 by 5 PM
with an in-person interview to be scheduled soon after. Brinson Honors College Ambassador
application includes a statement explaining why you’re interest in serving as an Ambassador
and a statement about a class that you find particularly engaging or intellectually
stimulating and what interests you most about that class.
