Western Carolina University's new
"Jobs@WCU" online employment
site will be available November 20, 2006. Job vacancy
announcements will
be online beginning Monday, November 20, 2006. In
order to apply for these jobs, you will first need
to create a user account, then an application. After
that, you merely need to click on any job for which
you wish to apply. Some
of the benefits of using this new system include;
apply for jobs from any online computer, create one
application to use for multiple job openings, check
the status of your application and jobs applied to
in real-time, and more!
Jobs@WCU will
completely replace the current paper based recruiting
system. Effective November 20, 2006, all applications
for Staff (SPA) (permanent, time-limited, and temporary)
positions should be submitted online through the
Jobs@WCU employment site.
For Faculty and select other non-classified positions
(EPA) please follow the specific application instructions
outlined in the vacancy announcement. These instructions
will indicate whether an online application can be
submitted or whether another method is required.
