In
North Carolina, all the public educational institutions that grant
baccalaureate degrees are part of the University of North Carolina.
The University of North Carolina is composed of the 16 constituent
institutions that form the multi-campus state university system.
The University of North Carolina - General Administration (UNC-GA)
web site provides a variety of information including the history
of the North Carolina multi-campus university system, an organizational
view of the UNC-GA, and various UNC-GA publications.
UNC-GA
produces several publications for reporting and administration
purposes. Sections of these publications are being made available
on the web to reduce printing costs and make the information more
widely available. The list of publications includes the Facilities
Inventory and Utilization Study. The annual Facilities
Inventory and Utilization Study details the status and use
of space in 118 North Carolina public and private institutions
of higher education.
